A Movement- Remixed
It’s been four years since Colin Kaepernick first took a knee…a gesture that would unfortunately & unintentionally polarize a league & a nation.
Bee Boisseau stood in solidarity with the message of Kaepernick’s movement two years ago with his release “NFL” featuring The Crossrhodes (Raheem DeVaughn, Wes Felton) & Vandell Andrew.
The message- “We stand firmly against racism, police brutality, & white supremacy…equal rights for all”.
Over 700 police involved deaths later, including George Floyd and Breanna Taylor, & with the eyes and ears of the entire world witnessing global protests, the time has come to revive the message…to re-energize the movement.
Joining forces with his brother & First Take band-mate, Bee Boisseau & Detroit producer/artist Tall Black Guy bring us the “NFL” TBG Remix featuring The Crossrhodes available on digital platforms worldwide Friday, June 26th, 2020. The two combine with super duo Raheem DeVaughn & Wes Felton to give us a culture classic rich in hip-hop energies, energies of change and revolution that forces the mind of the listener to come to grips with the fact… Black Lives Matter.
“There are a lot of things that are going on that are unjust people aren’t being held accountable for and that’s something that needs to change. This country stands for freedom, liberty, justice for all…and it’s not happening for all of us.” -Colin Kaepernick
